President's Message

It is deeply an honour to be elected as the President of The Old Frees’ Association for 2021/22. I will like to take the opportunity to thank all the members for entrusting us to serve for the association and it became our obligation to choose how best to serve.

The primary goal for this term is further enhancing the efficiency of the office administration by improving the administration processes and digitalization the association. We will perform our responsibilities with utmost sincerity and integrity for the best interest of the association. As always, we welcome feedback and suggestions from the members.

The continuity support for the Development Committee will remain a priority to explore the best option available for the OFA. For our Alma Mater, we will continue strengthening the ties strongly to bring Penang Free School back to the golden years.

We will stay committed to bring the association to the next level towards our centenary celebrations in 2023.

Activities   The OFA Table Tennis Tournament 2012 was held at the OFA on 27th March 2012. Held on an annual basis, the Association has received warm response to the tournament. The results for the doubles event are as follows: 1st Prize - Mr. Sunny Foong Sun Meng & Mr. Kevin Ooi, 2nd Prize - Mr. Terence Ooi & Mr. Lo Liang Kheng, 3rd Prize - Mr. Ronnie Teoh & Mr. Fong Khiang Aun, 4th Prize - Mr. Ooi Wah Teng & Mr. David Hwang Hong Shi . Magazines   The Pinang Tree serves as a platform to keep the OFA Members informed of the events concerning its members and things of interest to its members. The Editorial Board welcomes contributions in any form to be published in The Pinang Tree. Blogs   There was a farmer who grew superior quality and award-winning corn.
